This firm has a strong tradition of successfully 'growing their own' and an enviably low staff turnover and so it is rare that they look externally to fill a role. This time though a busy, growing practice means they need to add to the team.
You will be working closely with two partners, on a mix commercial, insurance and employment disputes work. The ideal PQE is between 2 and 5 years, and it is important that you are already capable of handling smaller files so you can hit the ground running.
As a smaller firm they are able to offer the opportunity to get closely involved in all stages of any matters and you should expect to be included in meeting clients, consulted on strategic decisions and put your name to pieces of work to make sure credit goes where it is due. The partners believe in plenty of constructive feedback, advice and praise in the hope of creating a good learning environment and encouraging development of skills and knowledge.
To be considered for this role litigation experience is essential, as are good academic grades. You will need to leave your ego at the front door and be keen to work as part of an inclusive team.
