McLeod Duminy Partners with Eat My Lunch

The best meal is a shared one: McLeod Duminy supports Eat My Lunch

McLeod Duminy has embarked on a new journey, one that we’re very excited and passionate about. Our business has grown tremendously and given our good fortune over the past few years, we’ve deliberated how we can channel our success to help those in need.

Putting our heads together, we sought to identify a cause that would fit perfectly with our personal and professional goals. We wanted one where our business activities and initiatives would enable maximum contributing opportunities.

It didn’t take us long to come up with the perfect match: we chose to partner with Eat My Lunch.

Eat My Lunch started out wanting to alleviate a nationwide issue – kids who live in poverty and go to school without food – by creating change through something as routine as lunch. With Eat My Lunch, it’s easy to make a difference: for every lunch you buy, they give one to a Kiwi youngster who would otherwise go without.

Starting today, McLeod Duminy is supporting Eat My Lunch in as many ways as possible. First off, we’re excited to announce that Eat My Lunch is now our caterer of choice for events and every candidate placed by McLeod Duminy will be enjoying a complimentary meal from Eat My Lunch one day per week for a month.

We’re also updating our current referral programme. For every referred candidate we successfully place, the person who we received the referral from (as well as the placed candidate) will be enjoying a complimentary meal from Eat My Lunch one day per week for a month as a gesture of our appreciation.

We hope this initiative will enable Eat My Lunch to guarantee more lunches to children in need. There will also be an option to donate both lunches to children instead.

Importantly, we thought we’d also share our enthusiasm by encouraging you to consider supporting Eat My Lunch too by ordering a few lunches, hiring them to cater for your next event, or in any other way possible. Together, we can all make a difference for Kiwi kids in need.
